Roblox Build or Builblox: two ways to make a game with AI
Since 2026, Roblox offers its own AI creation tool, Roblox Build. Builblox works elsewhere: inside Roblox Studio, on desktop. The two do not do the same thing and are not for the same moments. Here is what we know, without making anything up, and how to choose.
Roblox Build, the official tool
Roblox Build is Roblox's AI creation tool, launched in 2026, mobile-first and rolled out region by region. That is all we claim about it: its features evolve, and the reliable source is Roblox. If you are on a phone, or in a region where it is available, it is the natural entry point.
Builblox, the AI inside Roblox Studio
Builblox runs in the browser and builds inside Roblox Studio, on desktop, through a Creator Store plugin. You describe your game, in French or English, the AI proposes a plan in steps, and the plugin places each step in your place: Luau scripts, parts, GUI, remotes, saves. It starts from an empty place or a game already underway, which it reads before writing.
Everything it creates stays as ordinary Studio objects, readable and editable, yours. Around the game, Builblox adds thumbnails, TrackBlox statistics, and on Pro and Studio 3D models and frontier AI models.
How to choose
The useful question is not "which is better" but "where do I work".
- You are on mobile, or want to try Roblox's own tool first: Roblox Build.
- You work in Roblox Studio, want the scripts in the open and a place you keep editing by hand: Builblox.
- You already have a game started in Studio and want to add systems: Builblox reads what exists before writing.
- You want to work in French: Builblox speaks French and English.
- You also want the thumbnail, statistics and 3D models: Builblox gathers them in one place.
The two do not exclude each other
A Roblox game always ends up in a place, and a place opens in Roblox Studio. Whatever you use to start, Builblox can pick the place up afterwards, read what is in it and build the rest. The choice is not final.
